# VS Code and Cursor

> Install the signed Veridical extension

Install the platform-specific Veridical VSIX from the approved release or,
after publication, from VS Code Marketplace or Open VSX. Each VSIX contains
only the bundled extension output, license/readme/media, native CLI, and native
engine for its target platform.

Use the Command Palette to:

* sign in and inspect account entitlements;
* select hosted or self-hosted endpoint;
* bind a workspace and repository;
* verify a working tree or staged changes;
* review a pull request or scan the bound repository;
* open, explain, rerun, or create a fix for a finding;
* onboard, plan, run, stop, inspect, and resume implementation work.

The Problems view receives line-level findings. The Veridical panel and board
show receipts and feature transitions. Telemetry is limited to local weekly
counts unless the workspace enables a separate policy.

Cursor uses the same Open VSX package and command set.
